As of 12:00 February 5, no farmland or residential buildings in Transcarpathia are flooded.
385 hectares of farmland and 4.3 hectares of gardens in Vynogradiv district remain flooded. In addition, flood water broke onto the roadbed on the local road in Vynogradiv district, the village of Shalanky (up to 0.3-0.5 m deep and up to 1 km long). Traffic on that section of the road is restricted.
In all affected districts, rescuers and municipal services of the region performed works to divert water from the territory of households and pump water out of the flooded basements of houses and buildings in Tyachiv, Rakhiv, Mukachevo and Irshava districts.
There are no ice jams on the rivers of the region. 5 pyrothechnic teams from Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil and Khmelnytsky regions, and 2 teams of the Special Rapid Response Center (Drohobych) from Lviv region were engaged in eliminating ice jams.
To eliminate the consequences of floods, units of the State Emergencies Service and utilities of Transcarpathian region were engaged; in total 256 people and 41 units of equipment, including: from the Office of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region 35 people and 11 units of equipment, 2 boats.
