Only a passport is required to change the place of voting

The Central Election Commission of Ukraine, at yesterday’s meeting, amended its resolution No. 893 of September 13, 2012, and now the procedure for temporary change of the place of voting without changing election address does not require submission of documents (copies of documents) confirming the necessity of temporary change of the place of voting. The voter should submit only the passport of a citizen of Ukraine (or a temporary certificate of a citizen of Ukraine) for identification.

Recall that voters, who want to change the place of voting, including internally displaced persons, can do it in the office of the State Register of Voters at Uzhgorod City Council. Applications will be accepted at the office (Poshtova sq., room 237) through July 15, daily from 8.30 to 18.00 without lunch breaks.
