One of the accused in the arson of a cafe in Mukachevo will appear in court, the other one is being identified

The Transcarpathian Regional Prosecutor’s Office approved and sent to court an indictment in the case of arson of a cafe and bar in Mukachevo.

According to the investigation, in early February 2019, a group of people, using a pre-prepared bottle of combustible mixture, set fire to the front door of the establishment and fled from the scene. As a result, the offenders caused more than UAH 20,000 in material damage to the owner of the cafe.

One of the defendants was identified. He is a 19-year-old resident of Mukachevo district. He is charged with crimes under Part 2 of Art. 15, Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 2 of Art. 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, ie completed attempt of intentional destruction of property committed by a group of persons by arson.

The indictment against this person will be considered by the Mukachevo City and District Court. The other offender is being identified.
