One cul-de-sac less in Uzhgorod

1

This decision was adopted today at the Uzhgorod City Council, where public hearings to discuss city planning documentation took place. They discussed the detailed plan of the territory bounded by of Vozyednannya, Drahomanov, Radishchev and Volodymyrska streets.

It is proposed to change the use of the territory, in particular Volodymyrska street, which is currently a cul-de-sac, will be connected to Radishchev street.

The detailed plan of the project was proposed to be adopted with the following indicators: the total area of the residential space – 6.5025 hectares, of which 1.66 hectares is the development area, 2.6 hectares is the pavement area, 2.19 hectares is the green area, the average number of floors is 5. The main functional purpose of the territory is residential development and public functions.

During the period for reviewing suggestions and comments to the detailed plan (from June 18 to July 17), only one appeal was received: on the increase of the number of floors to 9 floors on the Slovyanska embankment, since in 2015 urban planning conditions for construction of a 9-storey residential complex with commercial and office premises were issued. This appeal was taken into account.

The participants of the public hearings approved the detailed plan of the territory and recommended to submit it for approval of the City Council. The draft decision must be prepared by the Architecture and Urban Development Department of Uzhgorod City Council.
