On Yandex.Maps, Transcarpathia drivers will be able to get information about road conditions in the region

Information about roadworks and blockings on intercity roads of Transcarpathian and other regions of Ukraine will now be available on Yandex.Maps. It became possible after Yandex and the State Road Agency of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) launched the first joint project. So, Transcarpathians will always know whether a road is open or not.
The Ukravtodor data will be available on yandex.ua/maps, in Yandex.Maps and Navigator software. Using them, motorists who are going to another city will be able to see whether any repairs are being carried out on the roads and in case of trrafic restriction – how many lanes are left. The Ukravtodor will also display unplanned blockings, for example related to protests. The software will also help to plan a route bypassing blocks – provided that it is possible at all. 
 
The State Road Agency of Ukraine manages the country’s road network. It manages 169.6 thousand km of roads, including 3347.8 km in Transcarpathian region (1,100.4 km of national level roads and 2,247.4 kilometers of local levels). Yandex.Maps will accumulate information about all roads. In 2016, more than UAH 76 million was allocated from the state budget for the repair of roads in Transcarpathian region.
