During July 21-23, a strong wind swept through Transcarpathia. As a result of the bad weather, several trees fell in the territory of the city of Uzhgorod, as well as in Mukachevo and Svalyava districts, the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region informs.
Thus, on July 23, rescuers of the special emergency rescue squad were cutting fallen trees on Shumna, T. Masaryk and Universytetska streets.
The day before, at 23:43, rescuers were working on Sobranetska street, where a fallen tree had damaged a car Volkswagen Transporter.
Also, on July 21, Mukachevo rescuers were eliminating the aftermath of the fall of tree on the carriageway of the highway between the city of Mukachevo and the village of Chinadiyevo. Meanwhile, Svalyava firefighters were eliminating the consequences of the fall of a tree on the carriageway of the Kyiv-Chop highway, 742nd km, near Svalyava.
Nobody was injured by the fallen trees. There were no delays in traffic.
