In the social network facebook, in one of Uzhgorod communities – "Architecture of Uzhgorod", the people are sounding the alarm: on Voloshin street two huge kiosks may appear.
The activists received this information at the meeting of the Public Council. The decision to install kiosks was taken at the last meeting of the City Council.
The owners intend to install kiosks opposite the "Edelweiss" – the activists say. In the comments to the message the activists express their determination to fight this destruction of the historic center, and even call for "extremist actions."
They have already voiced the intention to fight the billboards, that spoil the appearance of the historic center, with force. It seems that the kiosks, that are absolutely inappropriate on one of the main streets in the "heart" of the city, may be the last straw – the way the city authorities ignore the demands of citizens not to spoil the face of Uzhgorod is too outrageous.
