On November 6, around 10:00, due to heavy rains and because of cluttering of the local stream channel, roadside ditches and drains with household waste, 30 yards in the village of Zarichevo on Gorky Street were flooded.
The height of the water cover in the territory of flooded households reaches 5-10 cm.
No residential buildings were flooded. Nobody was killed or injured due to bad weather. Citizens were not ecacuated.
At 19:00, rescuers, employees of the Tisa River Basin Water Resources Administration and local residents cleared the channel of the local stream of debris and shrubs to allow water to pass. The water level in flooded households decreased, the water went down by gravity.
From the State Emergencies of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region, 12 people and 2 vehicles were employed to eliminate the consequences of the disaster. Also, employees of the Tisa River Basin Water Resources Administration (2 people) and local residents (25 people and 2 excavators) were working the scene
And at 3:08, on November 7, on the international highway Kyiv-Chop, near the town of Chop, a tree fell on a car "Mercedes sprinter" (Hungarian registration) moving from the regional center,. As a result, a 37-year-old passenger of the vehicle was injured. An ambulance delivered him to the hospital. According to doctors, the victim’s life is not in danger.
A crew of the 7th State Fire and Rescue Unit of the city of Chop consisting of 4 rescuers and 1 vehicle was engaged to cut the tree. About 4 cubic meters of wood was cut.
The information on the effects of the severe weather conditions in the region is being revised.
