On the unforgettable night of museums, treasures will be opened and surprises for guests will be prepared (Announcement)

uzhgorod.in already wrote about the unforgettable night in all museums of the city, but it is worth to tell about this extraordinary event in more details. As you know, this year Uzhgorod for the first time joined the global event European Museum Night, which dates back to 1997. 
5 locations will feature interesting artefacts of human life from the 15th to the 21st century. 
Museum treasures, cinema, photos, music and dance, pleasant surprises and unforgettable night with friends and like-minded people.
The event will feature:
1.  ILKO Gallery 
The program will run from 21.00 till morning and include:
• Tango Tempo;
• Johny Rides;
• Concert of classical music;
• Choreographic block from the studio BLITZ;
• Presentation of the book by Victoria Amelina;
• Meeting with photographer Serhiy Polezhaka, representative of the Danish School of Photojournalism.

2. Cafe Museum "Pid Zamkom"
Cafe Museum "Pid Zamkom" is the oldest coffee shop in the newest history of Uzhgorod, operating since 1988. The cafe conceptually reflects the history of Uzhgorod before and after Trianon.  There are many historic objects in the cafe that have become museum exhibits over time. 
The program includes:
• Contemplation of historical artifacts;
• Unique opportunity to play on an old piano;
• Screening of a real old movie on the film projector.
3. Transcarpathian Ethnographic Museum named after Tyvodar Lehotsky 
The program will run from 21.00 to 00.00 and include:
• First (!) demonstration of the King Gospel of 1410;
• "Nature of Transcarpathia" accompanied by the sounds of nocturnal animals;
• History of Uzhgorod and Uzhgorod castle;
• History of Mukachevo Greek Catholic diocese and Theological Seminary;
• Exhibition "Coffee in the mill of centuries";
• Exhibition from the city of Miskolc (Hungary);
• Transcarpathian folk musical instruments with musical accompaniment;
• Concert of classical music combined with choreographic suites.
4. Transcarpathian Museum of Folk Architecture and Rural Life
The program will run from 19.00 to 23.00 and include:
• 19.00-20.00 – evening service at the Shelest church of the Archangel Michael of the eighteenth century (conducted by Father Yaroslav, a priest of the Greek Catholic Cathedral of Uzhgorod);
• 20.00-21.00 – "Party in the old village" in the museum near the houses from the village of Orihovytsya (Uzhgorod district), the village of Bedevlya (Tyachiv district) and the village of Vyshkovo (Khust district).         
• 21.00-21.30 – performances by folk ensembles of Transcarpathian region;
• 21.30-23.00 – art block "Inexhaustible Traditions": 1. Show of traditional folk costumes of Transcarpathia from the museum stock; 2. Performance of the group "Hudatska Taistra"; 3. Screening of the documentary "Living Vatra" followed by communication with the director Ostap Kostyuk, feast with Transcarpathian traditional goodies;
• 19.00-23.00 – food court "Traditional dishes of Transcarpathia" and the museum gift shop. 
5. Transcarpathian Regional Museum named after Yosyp Bokshay
The program will run from 18.00 to 00.00 and include:
• retrospective exhibition of the famous Transcarpathian painter Erdelyi (1891-1955), including works of Munich and Paris periods;
• collection of Western European art of 16-20 centuries;
• wood plastic of the People’s Artist of Ukraine Vasyl Svyda;
• exhibition within the Days of Japanese Culture in Uzhgorod; 
• concert of chamber music.
