Yesterday, a doctor of the admission department of Khust district hospital reported to Khust city police that they had admitted a resident of the village of Drahovo with the preliminary diagnosis – a gunshot wound of the abdominal cavity.
The police found out that in the village of Drahovo, on Zhovtneva street, in the living area a resident of the village, due to hostile relations, had taken a gun out of his jacket pocket, made 4-5 shots at the man and fled in an unknown direction by a car "Volkswagen". The victim is in the surgery department of Khust district hospital, his condition is stable and severe.
Due to the measures taken, officers of Khust city police together with border guards arrested the attacker at the checkpoint "Solotvino" when he was trying to cross the border with the Republic of Romania.
At the scene of the crime, they found 3 7.65 caliber cartridge cases and 1 bullet. The examination of the found cases and bullet revealed that Roman was shooting from a rifled firearm. The attacker is in custody at Khust City Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
