On the railway crossing in Uzhgorod, a taxi driver knocked down a barrier

On the railway crossing of Uzhgorod station, intersection of Gagarin and Ankudinov street, a taxi knocked down the barrier. Police officers found out that the driver of a "Gazelle" was trying to cross closed railway crossing resulting in damaged barrier. No train was delayed. Traffic police are searching for the driver who violated the traffic rules and fled the scene.

The infromation on the said criminal proceeding has been registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations. Preliminary investigation continues. All the circumstances of the incident are being established.
