On the occasion of the International Women’s Day, the exhibition “Galanthus” will be presented in Uzhgorod

March 9, in the "Uzhgorod" gallery, the fair half of mankind will present a traditional spring exhibition.

"Galanthus" in Latin means snowdrop. The comparison of women with this primrose is apt, since their purity, tenderness and grace always covers a fair amount of inner strength, which allows to break through cold and darkness toward warmth, light, peace.      

Members of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine will share their own perception of this wonderful season by presenting more than fifty paintings, graphics and applied arts works.   

The opening will take place at 16.00.

The exhibition will last for about two weeks.
