On the occasion of the Carpathian Ukraine, Transcarpathians will have an extra day off, but they will work on Saturday cleanup

The day of the anniversary of the Carpathian Ukraine in 2018 will be a day off in Transcarpathia. But instead the residents of the region will work on Saturday cleanup.

On March 15, 1939, the seim of Carpathian Ukraine proclaimed state independence and adopted the constitution, according to which the state language was Ukrainian, the state flag was a blue and yellow banner, the coat of arms was an image of a bear with blue and yellow stripes and a trident, and the anthem was "Ukraine has not died yet". March 15, 1939 is one of the most prominent dates in the history of Transcarpathia, so this day deserves to be a holiday. This motivation was stated by the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, where the relevant order was signed.

According to the document, heads of district state administrations, managers of enterprises, institutions and organizations are advised to move the working day from Thursday, March 15, to one of Saturdays in April, when the traditional spring cleanup will be held in the region.
