On the occasion of Constitution Day, in Uzhgorod, officials laid flowers to the monument to Taras Shevchenko (PHOTOS)

The event was attended by the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksiy Petrov, the Deputy Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Petro Hrytsyk, the Deputy Mayor of Uzhgorod Ihor Fartushok, representatives of law enforcement agencies. Due to quarantine restrictions, this year’s event was attended by few people and took place without members of the public. The Basic Law of Ukraine was adopted on June 28, 1996. Since then, every year on this day we celebrate one of the biggest public holidays,
