On the Independence Day of Ukraine, a state flag was set at the highest peak of the region (PHOTOS)

On the occasion of Independence Day of Ukraine and the National Flag Day, the National Park "Synevyr" set a blue and yellow flag on the highest mountain in the region

Traditionally, on the occasion of Independence Day of Ukraine and the National Flag Day of Ukraine, the National Park "Synevyr" sets the state flag of Ukraine on the highest mountain of the region – Strymba (1719 meters above sea level). This year, the patriotic event took place on August 22 in a festive atmosphere.

The climbing to the Mount Strymba with participation of the National Park "Synevyr" staff and the public was devoted to the 23rd anniversary of Independence of Ukraine. The purpose of the campaign is to honor the most important event in the history of our country. The participants also promote environmental ideas through the aesthetic value of nature, acquaint the public with the tourism and recreational potential of the National Park "Synevyr."
