On the eve of Victory Day, over 16,000 Transcarpathians will receive cash payments

This was reported by the Director of the Social Welfare Department of the RSA Hanna Morozyuk, the chas-z.com.ua informs citing to the newspaper "Novyny Zakarpattya". The official reminded that earlier this year the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine had adopted a resolution according to which new amounts of one-time financial assistance to May 9 were introduced.
Compared with last year, these amounts have increased by an average of 5%. Accordingly, this year, the following categories of people will receive financial assistance to May 9: I group disabled of the World War II – in the amount of 2975 UAH, II group disabled – 2600 UAH, III group disabled – 2310 UAH. In addition, combatants, including participants of the ATO will receive 920 UAH each. Persons who have special merits before the country will be paid 2975 UAH, relatives of killed ATO participants – 465 UAH, war participants – 170 UAH, – the official said. 
In total, on May 9, more than 16 thousand inhabitants of the region will receive cash payments totaling more than UAH 12 million. Hanna Morozyuk also noted that to obtain appropriate assistance, one does not need to apply to local social security authorities, all payments will be ed to the relevant categories of citizens automatically.
