The "Stone of Love" or "Wish Stone" was brought to the regional center of Transcarpathia from the city of Cana of Galilee (Israel), a holy place where Jesus Christ blessed the first couple for a happy marital life, – the Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv said today at a press conference on the celebration of the Day of Uzhgorod.
On the Day of Uzhgorod, September 23, in the courtyard of the Civil Registrar’s department on the Nebesna Sotnya street, there will be the opening of the monument and the solemn registration of marriage.
Many people believe that if you pray and touch this stone, love will become even stronger. For believers, it is also a part of the Holy Land.
