On the borders with the EU, three cars and cigarettes were seized (PHOTOS)

Recently, border guards of the Chop detachment in conjunction with the customs officers prevented the offenders who were trying to illegally move cigarettes and vehicles across the border.

At the checkpoint "Tisa", borer guards prevented two attempts of illegal transportation of tobacco products to Hungary. In the first case, cigarettes and a car "Dacia" (made in 2008) were confiscated from a citizen of Ukraine who tried to move across the border 139 packs of cigarettes "NZ Gold" under the rear seat of the car. The car is evaluated at over 138,000 UAH, the value of the cigarettes is being established. Another our compatriot tried to smuggle cigarettes in the spare wheel of his "Opel". In this case, only the cigarettes and the spare wheel were seized that, in total, were estimated at 1,925 UAH.

Two vehicles were seized at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod" on the border with Slovakia. Cars "Lancia" (made in 1987) and "Daewoo" (made in 1998) were driven by two Hungarian citizens to the territory of Ukraine with forged letters of authorization for operation.As a result, the cost of the Italian car was over 18,000 UAH, the representative of the South Korean car industry was evaluated at 23,000 UAH.
