An hour ago, at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod" on the border with Slovakia, border guards of the Chop detachment found a large quantity of contraband tobacco products that the offenders were trying to illegally carry to the EU countries.
Thus, during the implementation of control measures, in a truck heading from Kyiv region to the Czech Republic, the joint border guard and customs inspection group found among the cargo with boards specially made caches to move contraband. Belarusian cigarettes "Fest" were carried in the truck. Currently, the vehicle is being unloaded, the contraband products are being confiscated and counted.
