Today, around 7 am, at the international checkpoint "Tisa" of the Chop detachment, border guards together with customs officers detained a minibus "Mercedes" and found in it 127 packs of cigarettes hidden in a special cache.
The vehicle was driven by a citizen of Ukraine following to Hungary. Thus, during the in-depth inspection, border guards found under the front passenger seat a specially made cache which contained 127 packs of tobacco products of various brands.
Currently, the cigarettes woth about 3,000 UAH were seized. The same fate befell the minibus "Mercedes" released in 2002, which was estimated at over 190,000 UAH.
