On October 9, the Transcarpathian puppeteers invite to the premiere of the play "Sleeping Beauty" based on everyone’s favorite fairy tale by Charles Perrault.
If you look into the history of the Transcarpathian Regional Academic Puppet Theatre, you can find out what exactly nine years and one month ago – September 9, 2007 – the twenty-seven theater season opened with the premiere of the fairy tale "Sleeping Beauty." Then, many young Transcarpathians saw the show, and then the puppets went to "rest." Years have passed, a new generation of audience has grown.
And now, the theater is back on the famous tale. The dramaturgy of the performance has been significantly revised, new original costumes have been sewn, changes in sets design have been made, the puppets have been completely renovated. And there are many puppets – King and Queen, Good and Evil Fairies, Silly Prince and the Prince, who saved the Princess with his love, and his servant, Maid of Honor, Musician, Cook and Guard and three puppets for the Princess – baby Princess, little girl Princess and young beauty Princess.
The fairy-tale characters will be "brought to life" by experienced actors – Ella Grigorieva, Yulia Chekhovska, Pavlo Prodanyuk. Director of the performance is Natalia Oryeshnikova, art director – Tetyana Ulynets, composer – Hennadiy Donetsky, music supervisor – Mykola Karpenko.
The play is intended for preschool and school age children. The shows start traditionally at 11.00 and at 13.00.
