On Sunday, Mizhhirya district invites you to a traditional shepherd holiday

This Sunday, June 3, the traditional holiday "Send-off of sheep up the mountains" will take place in Mizhhirya district

                The festive event will begin at 13.00 with a procession to the sounds of trembitas and folk musicians in the center of the town.

Then, the main activities will start at 2 o’clock on the Synevyr pass.

Guests of the holiday will be able to take part in inflammation of the shepherd bonfire, to see the process of cheese making, to visit the exhibition of sheep-farming products, folk art products. Traditionally, there will be performances of folk groups, contests and entertainment.
