On St. Martin Day in Mukachevo, the ground will be sprinkled with wine

Today, the activities to commemorate the patron saint of Mukachevo – St. Martin – have begun in the city. In the Christian Cultural Center (Rosvyhivska st., 9a), at 15.30, there will be a Charity Concert "With love in the heart" with the participation of school pupils. On this day, the Holiday Fair opened on Myr Square and will run for three days.

The major events will take place on Sunday, November 9, and will start at 18.00 in the city center. Those include, according to the organizers, the lantern march (the children will march the city with handmade lanterns). Traditionally, they will sprinkle the ground with this year’s first wine. There will be a theatrical performance, which will help to plunge into the atmosphere of the times of Saint Martin.

And on Tuesday, November 11, at 10.30, there will be a festive worship in the Cathedral of St. Martin.
