On Sobranetska street, a drunk driver caused an accident

Yesterday, around 17:30, on Sobranetska street in Uzhgorod, patro policemenl noticed several cars stopping at the curb without reason.

As it turned out, the driver of a Citroen lost control and ran into a ditch, knocking down a road sign.

The patrol policemen immediately stopped to find out the circumstances of the incident and, if necessary to provide assistance. During communication and document check, the policemen noticed signs of intoxication of the driver, so the driver was asked to take the test with Drager in the presence of 2 witnesses, but with a positive result of 2.26 ppm, the driver demanded to be examined at a medical facility where intoxication was confirmed by a doctor.

Appropriate documents were drawn up against the driver.
