On May 1, gas prices for households may increase

Gas prices for households may technically increase on May 1 this year, not before.

This was announced by the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Yuriy Prodan, the "Interfax-Ukraine" reported.

"On April 1, it is technically impossible, it is possible starting from May 1," – he said.

Also, the Minister said that subsidies for households will be enhanced, and it is agreed with the International Monetary Fund.
