On-line information on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection in Ukraine and in Transcarpathia

According to the Public Health Center, as of 10:00 am on April 10, there have been 2203 laboratory confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine, of which 69 were fatal, 61 patients have recovered. During the day, 311 new cases were confirmed.
Currently, coronavirus disease has been detected in: 
Vinnytsia region – 119 cases;
Volyn region – 41 cases;
Dnipropetrovsk region – 52 cases;
Donetsk region – 11 cases;
Zhytomyr region – 41 cases;
Transcarpathian region – 56 cases;
Zaporizhzhya region – 54 cases;
Ivano-Frankivsk region – 254 cases;
Kirovohrad region – 82 cases;
Kyiv – 348 cases;
Kyiv region – 140 cases;
Lviv region – 82 cases;
Luhansk region – 3 cases;
Mykolaiv region – 0 cases;
Odesa region – 46 cases;
Poltava region – 20 cases;
Rivne region – 85 cases;
Sumy region – 63 cases;
Ternopil region – 196 cases;
Kharkiv region – 6 cases;
Kherson region – 27 cases;
Khmelnytsky region – 16 cases;
Chernivtsi region – 366 cases;
Cherkasy region – 86 cases;
Chernihiv region – 9 cases.
In Transcarpathia
56 patients have been confirmed having COVID-19.
This was reported by the Transcarpathian Regional Health Center.

"During the past day, April 9, 350 people sought emergency medical care, 11 of them had signs of acute respiratory infection and 22 had symptoms of acute pneumonia," – the director of the Health Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Yelizaveta Birov said.

30 samples of biological materials for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing were collected; 22 people with signs of acute respiratory infection, 4 person suspected of having COVID-19 and 2 patients diagnosed with COVID-19 were hospitalized in health care institutions over the past day.

The tests were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. As of the morning of April 8, 2020, the Center has received 862 reports of suspected COVID-19 cases.
