This was announced today by the Mayor of Uzhgorod Victor Pogorelov in the comments to the "Zakarpattya online" about plans for the site on Hoyda street where the parking lot of the current mayor was once situated.
According to Victor Pogorelov, the land was bought a few years ago, and now the owner plans to build a high-rise building for office space there. Also, two floors of garages are planned to bebuilt there, the mayor said.
However, he noted that currently the final construction project has not yet been approved. He said that the approval of the project is underway.
It was reported that the integrity of the historic district "Small Halahov", designed by Czech architect Frantisek Krupka risks to be broken by a new building planned by the owner of the land on Hoyda street, which belongs to the historical area "Small Halahov."
