Yesterday afternoon, a 41-year-old unemployed man reported to Uzhgorod law enforcement officers that he had found a shell. According to the man, who lives in a private home on Horynaska Street, during the chores in the garden he found a metal object, about 50 cm long, covered with corrosion, resembling a mortar shell of the Second World War period.
The team of pyrotechnics determined that it was an 82 mm mortar shell without primer. Yesterday, the shell was transported to the military training ground near the village of Orikhovytsya in Uzhgorod district and destroyed.
