On Artileriyska street, a shell was found

Yesterday morning, a 51-year-old unemployed resident of the city reported to Uzhgorod law enforcement officers that at the end of Artileriyska street he had found an object similar to an artillery shell covered with corrosion. The bomb squad of the State Emergencies Service in Transcarpathian region was sent at the scene.

At a distance of about 300 meters from residential houses, on a vacant lot, the rescuers found a modern 125 mm black artillery shell without markings and covered with corrosion. The pyrotechnic team removed and disposed of it at the training ground in Orikhovytsya. The evacuation of citizens was not carried out.
