Old buses will be banned from going abroad

Buses older than 19 years can not carry passengers on international routes. Ukraine plans to join the INTERBUS agreement, containing such prohibition.

The relevant bill was passed by the Parliament of Ukraine. Ukraine should join the Agreement, which governs the rules of international occasional carriage of passengers by bus, by the end of this year.

As a result, writes Svit24, it will not be required to obtain permits to go and return without passengers. However, Member States will prohibit the use of old buses registered before October 1, 1993.
