In Vynogradiv district, in the village of Veryatsya, in one of the houses, a family of 5 people was found murdered. Among the victims, there are young children.
The tragedy was reported to police officers by a neighbor, who had found this family murdered. Thus, the investigation of the criminal offense under Part 2 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (murder, punishable by 10 to 15 years or life imprisonment) has started. The police officers consider all versions of the crime, including the murder of the family members by the husband with his subsequent suicide or the murder of the family by third person (s) followed by staging of the murder by the husband and his subsequent suicide.
The prosecutor of the region Oleg Sydorchuk immediately left for the scene and took the course of the investigation under his personal control.
