Officially: a mother with children from Rakhiv has been taken care of

Employees of the Uzhgorod City Council Service for Children and the Uzhgorod City Center for Social Services for Children, Family and Youth, having received information about a mother with children at the station in Uzhgorod, visited them today, the press service of the Uzhgorod City Council informs.

They found out that the family was from Rakhiv and was registered there. The woman is raising six children, is pregnant with another one, has the status of a single mother. The family receives all appropriate social benefits, but lives antisocially.
 The mother was offered accommodation in a crisis center with her children, she refused. Therefore, three older children, at the request of the service for children, were taken to the regional shelter in Batyovo, where they may stay temporarily, for no more than 90 days. Three younger children were left with their mother, so as not to stress them, they were given train tickets and sent to Rakhiv, where their aunt agreed to take them. At the same time, Rakhiv social services were informed about it, they will meet the mother and children there and take care of them.
