In Ukraine, more than 2.6 million square meters of office space are vacant. They await their new tenants across the country, but the lion’s share of all the proposals is in the capital. Such data have been voiced by analysts of the free ads portal Slando.
As of mid-February, all over the country, 21,570 premises with total area of 2.65 million sq. m. were vacant.
76% of all proposals accounted for Kyiv, and they represent over 80% of the area of all available offices in Ukraine. The top five cities with the highest number of proposals also include Donetsk, which accounts for more than 1,300 vacant premises. It is followed by Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk, where more than 850 offices are waiting for new owners, and Kharkiv with more than 600 vacant spaces is on the fifth position. Meanwhile, in Chernihiv, Lutsk and Vinnytsya there are no proposals to lease offices at all.
The average office rent per square meter in Ukraine is 145 UAH. Without the prices of the capital taken into account, the average price is only 89 UAH. In Kyiv the average rent per square meter is 157 UAH. The lowest office rents are offerred in Cherkasy, Khmelnytsky and Mykolayiv.
