Obstruction to the work of investigators was recorded in Mizhhirya district

In the course of investigation in the criminal proceedings conducted by investigators of the prosecutor’s office in Transcarpathian region in cooperation with the police, two unemployed Transcarpathians made obstructions to their work.

 The check into this fact was initiated. The incident was registered in the unified register. The liability in accordance with Article 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – Threats or violence against a law enforcement officer – is as follows:

1. Threats of murder, violence, destruction or damage to property against a law enforcement officer, as well as his or her close relatives in connection with the performance of his or her official duties shall be punishable by correctional labor for up to two years or detention for up to six months, or restraint of liberty for up to three years or imprisonment for the same term.

2. Intentional infliction of battery, light or moderate injuries to a law enforcement officer or his or her close relatives in connection with the performance of his or her official duties shall be punishable by restraint of liberty for up to five years, or imprisonment for the same term.

3. Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm to a law enforcement officer or his or her close relatives in connection with the performance of his or her official duties shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term of five to twelve years.

4. Actions envisaged in parts one, two or three of this Article, if committed by an organized group.
