Now we know who prohibited transportation of welfare beneficiaries in Transcarpathia (DOCUMENT)

The publication Uzhgorod.in received documentary evidence of the facts – who forbade Transcarpathian carriers to transport welfare beneficiaries.

Thus, on February 20, the President of the "Zakarapatavtotrans" JSC Yosyp Krechko issued the order for the chiefs of bus stations to stop selling tickets to welfare beneficiaries on intercity and commuter routes. 

This order of the head of the private structures contradicts the requirements of the applicable law. Thus, in accordance with Article 37 of the Law of Ukraine "On Automobile Transport", transportation of passengers, who, according to the law, enjoy welfare benefits, shall be provided by carriers that thransport passengers on the routes of public use.

Automotive carrier that transports passengers on bus routes of public use cannot refuse in transportation of such passengers, except as provided by law.
