Night “tourists” were stopped in Transcarpathia (PHOTOS)

Active measures aimed at preventing smuggling across the border are being taken in the area of ​​the Mukachevo border guard detachment. 
Last night, having received information from the Department of Internal Security, border guards of the Luzhanka department organized search operations, as a result of which a group of people with packages was spotted 100 meters from the border. 
Realizing that they had been exposed, the smugglers left their cargo and fled. The offenders planned to move to neighboring Hungary 9 packages containing 4390 packs of cigarettes without excise stamps of Ukraine. 
The found tobacco products were delivered to the border guard unit. Information about the criminal offense under Article 204 of the Criminal Code "Illegal manufacture, storage, sale or transportation for sale of excisable goods" was sent to the State Tax Service in Transcarpathian region.
