In Uzhgorod, at the intersection of Drugety and Shumna streets, after midnight from Saturday to Sunday, there was a road accident, which almost led to a tragedy – a scooter crashed into a car Opel Vectra with Slovak license plates.
The driver of the Opel, who was driving from Domanyntsi neighbourhood and making a turn to Shumna street, did not notice the scooter, which was moving from the city center with headlight off.
As a result, the scooter crashed into the car. As a result of the impact, he ended up on the sidewalk near the military unit.
The injured driver of the scooter was taken by an ambulance. According to the witnesses of the accident, his life is not in danger.
