The car accident happened today, December 28, shortly after midnight, at the intersection of Bercheni and Pidhirna streets.
As the Mukachevo.net found out from the Transcarpathian regional police, law enforcement agencies received the report of the accident today, December 28, at 00:30.
According to the police, a 29-year-old driver of a Renault, a resident of Uzhgorod district, failed to maintain a safe distance and collided with a Nissan Qashqai that was driving ahead of him.
Two 25-year-old passengers of the Nissan were injured in the crash. The women were provided with medical care at the scene. They refused hospitalization.
The police are currently deciding whether to open proceedings under Art. 286 of the Criminal Code.
