The sweetest and nicest holiday continues in Uzhgorod. For the second time, the best confectioners in Transcarpathia present their fragrant and delicious masterpieces at the Gingerbread Festival in the Owl’s Nest.
Natural gingerbread baked with love and skillfully painted is not the only attracton of the holiday. Children and adults love the gingerbread town. The building of the Cathedral, the residence of St. Nicholas, fairy-tale houses, even the building of the animal shelter, and a miniature train running between them! Holiday!
The festival is a charity event. On Sunday, gingerbread houses will be sold at the auction "Buy a house – save a life!", the proceeds will be used for the treatment of Kristina Yaremchuk. There are also locations from the Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers and organization "Barbos", where you can taste home-made cuisine, sweets, buy gingerbread and souvenirs.
The holiday will last until 16:00 Sunday, and at 13.00 on the same day, Bethlehem Light will be brought there.
