Next year, Pogorelov will give Ratushnyak benefits

Uzhgorod City Council developed the program for compensation of housing and utilities expenses to honorary citizens of Uzhgorod and delegates of the I Congress of People’s Committees of Transcarpathian Ukraine in 2014. As stated in the explanatory note, "the main goal of the program is to solve social issues and provide better service for this category of population." The program will be funded at the expense of the city budget, from expenditures for the Department of Labour and Social Welfare. In total, 140,000 UAH from the city treasury will be allocated for compensation of housing and utilities expenditures (electricity, gas, water and sanitation, waste removal). Benefits will be granted to three delegates of the I Congress of People’s Committees of Transcarpathian Ukraine and 23 honorary citizens of Uzhgorod, including former mayor Serhiy Ratushnyak.
