Next Friday, the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban plans to visit Beregovo. He will take part in the opening of the academic year in the Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute named after Ferenc Rákóczi II, to be held in Beregovo Reformed Church.
Orban will also examine the reconstructed part of the main building of the institute. There will be a consecration of the institution.
More than 1000 students from all over the region study in the Institute. Future geographers, historians, philologists are trained here.Over its 18 years history, Transcarpathian Hungarian Institute of Ferenc Rákóczi II became the center of cultural and educational life of the Hungarian community in the region.
