Moskal is interested in neighborly relations with Romania

During the working visit to Romanian Maramures, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal suggested the prefect Anton Rogian to restore the Day of Neighborliness between Romania and Ukraine.

This cultural event was held only once - in 2002., during the first term of H.Moskal as the head of the RSA. Anton Rogian accepted the offer. The venue of the holiday will remain the same - border area near the bridge over the Tisa River between the village of Solotvyno in Tyachiv district (territory of Ukraine) and the city of Siget Marmatiei in Maramures county (in Romania).

In the coming days, the parties will explore organizational issues of the international festival, including simplified border crossing opportunities for its participants and guests. If necessary, the Consulate General of Romania in Chernivtsi will be involved. The tentative date of the Neighborliness Day is the last weekend of this month (26 or 27 of September).
