In Uzhgorod, a pickpocket was caught

A young man on the street stole from a passer's pocket a wallet with a large sum of money. 

In the evening, a resident of Uzhgorod reported to the police that on the street, an unknown person had stolen from the back pocket of his trousers a wallet with the money in the amount of 4450 UAH.

Soon district police officers caught the pickpocket. As it turned out, the theft was committed by a 34-year-old unemployed resident of Uzhgorod. The wallet was seized, but the thief had already spent the money.

This incident was registered in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations, the thief faces a prison sentence.
