Starting from 26 October in Ukraine it will be much colder, and in the western regions there will be snow.
This was reported during a briefing on Monday by the director of Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center of the Ministry of Emergencies of Ukraine Mykola Kulbida.
"Starting from October 26 in Ukraine a drastic change of weather conditions will begin due to the invasion of cold Arctic air and the cyclone of moderate intensity from Balkans. Atmospheric processes will worsen, and thus weather conditions will change very much," – he said.
October 26 in the western regions there will be rain turning to wet snow and daytime temperature will drop to +4 ° – +10 °, while in the southern, eastern and central regions the temperature will still be +11 ° – +16 °.
During October 27-28, the cooling will spread over the entire territory of Ukraine, except Crimea and Azov sea. The temperature will drop at night to 0 – 3 degrees below zero and daytime temperature will be 1-6 degrees Celsius. The most intense precipitation can be expected in the southern regions, there will be sleet and snow cover formation, in the South and East there will be intense rains.
October 29-30 there will be some weakening of precipitation – there will be sleet, but in small quantities. This change in weather conditions will be accompanied by stormy winds with the speed reaching 15-20 m / s.
