New Year’s Half Marathon “YOL” brought victory to a Transcarpathian athlete (PHOTOS)

On December 28, more than 650 elite athletes and just fans of running participated in the 3rd New Year’s Half Marathon "YOL", organized by the mrathon club "Kyiv 42195".

The course in length of 21 kilometers and 98 meters was running in Vyshgorod, on a romantic embankment of Kyiv Sea.

This year, the winner was a debutant of the competition – 24-year-old Serhiy Raschupkin from Mukachevo (443), who finished at 1 hour 12 minutes and 37 seconds. The second, with the time of 1:13.01, was the known athlete, a participant of the Olympics in Athens and Beijing Danylo Sapunov from Zaporozhzhia, the third – multiple winner of these competitions Ruslan Krasovskt from Sumy region (1:13.12). In the competition among women, Olena Symonok from Kyiv won with a score of 1:28.37.
