New scuplture has been opened in Svalyava district

A new sculptural attraction has been opened in Svalyava district, – tourism expert Fedir Shandor informs:

"Forged sculpture-fountain "Man pouring mineral water" has already become an ornament of the territory of the sanatorium "Kvitka Polonyny".

The sculptor is M. Kolodko, as well as the smiths S. Rusnak, V. Kryvanych, R. Murnyk. 
At one time, an almost identical bronze monument, named "Coat of Arms of Svalyava", was established in Svalyava. It depicts a bronze sculpture of a man pouring mineral water into barrels.

Today’s monument is one of the 7 best monuments in Transcarpathia. It really decorated the city center, became the highlight for both residents and guests of Svalyava. The patron of the art project was the general director of the sanatorium "Kvitka Polonyny" Pavlo Hanynets.

By the way:
In Svalyava, the man pours mineral water into barrels. As for the "Kvitka Polonyny", in that sculptural composition, the man pours mineral water into a tub, that is, with a balneological purpose.

Thus, in the first case, attention is focused on the incomparable taste of the "Luzhanska" water, in the second case – on its healing properties".
