“New Meeting” with artist Serhiy Hlushchuk will be held in Uzhgorod Skansen (ANNOUNCEMENT)

On the eve of Independence Day, on August 22, at 16.00, the personal exhibition of Serhiy Hlushchuk "New Meeting" will open in Uzhgorod skansen.

The artist’s work are notable for extraordinary variety of themes and motifs that he has been exploring throughout his career. In the early 1990s, his works had many sacred and mythological subjects that were partly influenced by the avant-garde. Then, as the author himself admitted, in the early 2000s, he returned to the bosom of realistic art. The artist has many works on folk themes. The artist has created a series of portraits of historical figures and contemporaries, as well as many graphic works. 

 He has been an active participant in regional, republican and international art exhibitions. His personal exhibitions have taken place in Kyiv (1993, 1994, 2002) and Uzhgorod (2000, 2003, 2005). The artist’s works can be found in many personal collections in Ukraine and abroad. Member of A.Kashshay International Union of Independent Artists (2003). He is a member of the Transcarpathian Professional Artists Association (2010). (Reprinted from the site).
