On 13-14 of June, 2015, as part of the "CansUp!" project, young Uzhgorod writers painted walls of three buildings on the corner of Bestuzhev and Lehotsky streets.
According to the project participants, it aims to give ordinary citizens positive and different idea of this art form, because it’s not just vandalism and damage to the city property and architecture.
Thus, writers obtain all the necessary permits for their graffitis – this time they were assisted by the NGO "Association of Youth Initiatives of the Region."
"We decorate gloomy streets, neighborhoods and houses, following certain styles and canons that exist in graffiti," the project participants added.
