New generation of Transcarpathian journalism

On April 4, the II stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad on "Journalism" and "Advertising and Public Relations" took place at the Oles Honchar Dnipro National University, Media Center of UzhNU informs.

This year, UzhNU was represented at the contest by third and fourth year students of the corresponding specializations of the journalism department: Karolina Buchkovska, Tetyana Bots ("Journalism") and Katerina Kuzmina, Pavlo Kompaniyets ("Advertising and Public Relations"). The students were accompanied by teacher Volodymyr Tarasyuk, who was also invited to the jury of the journalism competition.

After completing the tests and writing the report of a press conference, on April 5 the results of the competition were published and the solemn awarding of the winners took place.

Students of our university will bring a lot of trophies to UzhNU. Thus, Karolina Buchkovska received a diploma in the category "Bright language and stylistic devices", Katerina Kuzmina – for "Best naming and SWOT analysis", Pavlo Kompaniyets – in the nomination "Active participant of a press conference", and Tetyana Bots received a certificate for participation in the II stage of the Olympiad.

And Katerina Kuzmina won the first place of the Olympiad in the category "Advertising and Public Relations". By the way, this is the third consecutive victory of UzhNU journalism department representatives in this nomination at the final stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad.
