New gas tariffs are to be expected in November

Tariffs of regional gas supply companies will increase 1.5-3.8 times.
On November 1, 2019, natural gas distribution tariffs should increase by 1.5-3.8 times for 44 regional gas operators. The draft resolution was adopted by the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities.
New tariffs are to account for the increase in energy costs, wages and taxes. And also, compensation for lost tariff revenue for 2015-2018. In total, gas companies will receive UAH 1.061 billion in compensation. The distribution tariff for the "Zakarpatgaz" JSC will increase by 2.4 times, from UAH 711.5 to UAH 1690.
